Mixing all these ingredients can be harmful to a mavs fans health.

1. A pissed off Spurs team who got robbed in broad daylight for everyone to see by the officials.

2. A pissed off Duncan who knows he got screwed with no lube.

3. A limping Dork who WILL be hurting come game 4.

All this will lead to a Spurs win by a large margin in Game 4. And expect the Spurs to win the series by expoiting a hurt Dork Nowitzki.

Spurs/Pop did a fantastic job of taking what was given in the second half. Dallas is FLYING on their rotations, and preventing open looks on the perimeter. Unfortunately, that leaves the middle of the lane WIDE OPEN, which is why SA shot like 10-13 at one point in the fourth. On the second swing pass, EVERY Spur player, Finley included, gave a little ball fake, and drove right to the rack for an easy bucket. That's what Dallas should be afraid of. That will be available as long as the rotations are aggressive, and the 3 pointer will come into play if they're not aggressive. Double edged sword.

I can't even argue this, except to say that it isn't scoreboard yet. Mavs have the upper hand, but it ain't scoreboard till someone has 4.

Sean Elliott had a great quote during the telecasts of the Sacto series this year. He was feeling all good during the Houston series that year (95? 96?) when Houston took 2 in SA, and then the Spurs got them back in Houston. Hakeem laughed at him as they were exiting the tunnel after game 4 and said "the series is just starting".

No, we're not afraid. I will admit, I'm a bit worried about Dirk's ankle because there's no worde yet, but afraid? What's there to be afraid about? It's all playoff smack-talking and the Spurs fans are dishing it out just as much; people shouldn't get so serious so early in a series.

Oh-kay. I don't see how being down 1-2 translates into the Spurs having "the Mavs by the balls" but whatever works. It would probably just be easier to say the series is only 1-2 and there's a long way to go in this series. It would probably be easier to say that all the Spurs need to do is get one in Dallas to take back HCA and they still have another game to do this. But hey, whatever works.

LITTLE ORPHAN TIMMY:
http://img425.imageshack.us/img425/5162/crybabyduncan8tt.jpg Spurs fans numbering in the skillions have emailed me, chastizing me for characterizing Little Orphan Timmy as the Spurs as "whiners.'' And my characterization will cease. ...
As soon as Tim Duncan ceases whining.
With 1:05 to play and San Antonio leading by a point in Saturday's Game 3 at the AAC, Dirk Nowitzki dribbled around defender Tony Parker and drove the lane. His intended target, almost certainly, was Duncan, the singular reason this semifinal series, is even close. Duncan had five fouls when the two stars made contact.
Whistle. Foul. On Duncan. That's six. Sit down.
Nowitzki made those two free throws and later made two more after an offensive rebound against a Duncan-less Spurs team that, fell to the Mavs, 104-103.
If you have watched this series, you are not surprised by what Duncan did after the whistle. Or what he was doing late into the night following the game: Palms up, to beg. Eyes wide, to beg. Gums flapping, to beg.
"He didn't fall into me," Duncan said in his postgame press conference. "He didn't touch me, I didn't touch him. He tried to draw contact, I moved out of his way. If he stepped on my foot, he stepped on my foot. There was zero contact."
Um. ... if Duncan's foot and Dirk's foot touched. ... that's contact. Right?
Responded Dirk in his media session: "Is that a foul? You tell me.''
It is, not unlike a late phantom foul that sent Manu Ginobili to the line, not unlike Manu and Fabio's series of flops, not unlike Bruce Bowen's nasty habit of undercutting airborn shooters, not unlike Duncan's own whistle-drawing theatrics, a foul only if it's called.
There WAS contact. There WAS a whistle. There WAS a foul.
"It was frustrating, because the type of fouls they were calling down the stretch, I didn't think they were fouls,'' cried Little Orphan Timmy, and I really believe there were tears in his eyes as he whispered his plea to the media, in a voice far softer than the one he used to (if I read lips even near right) MF Josh Howard as he exited.
Maybe Dirk got a superstar call. Maybe it's because he is, as coach Avery Johnson called him, "the new and improved Dirk."
And maybe Duncan gets some superstar calls, too, on the way to his terrific output in three games in this series. But Little Orphan Timmy won't be completely "new and improved'' until he puts his palms back in his pockets, puts his eyeballs back in their sockets, and puts the teardrops back in their ducts.
:lol

Be afraid of what? Having homecourt advantage and 2 games away from closing out the series? Be afraid of having a lead at the end of 11 out of the 12 quarters played? Be afraid of winning 3 out of the last 4 meetings against the Spurs (3 in San Antonio)? Be afraid of the endless uncontested layups that Devin Harris can get anytime he wants? Be afraid of the Spurs having no one on the team that can hit a jumpshot? Be afraid of outrebounding the Spurs by 10 per game? Be afraid of shooting 50% in the series? Be afraid of Tony Parker being unable to score 20 points?

Remind me again what the Mavs fans have to be afraid of. We're certainly not afraid of the rest we're going to get after the Mavs win in 5.

Today he calls me out because I was wrong, even though the Mavs won which is ALL I care about (he's obviously REACHING if he's going to start calling out Mavs fans on Vbookie bets after an f'ing Spurs loss!). Like I said, I don't even know how much I Vbookie'd...

Do you really believe Dirk cries as much or even more than Timmy? You have to be kidding me, right? Tim has to much pride to admit he actually makes a foul, the guy complained about every single call against him...your going to tell me he never commits any? Now Dirk, :lol . Please don't compare them about bitching and crying. If Dirk does bitch, not very often, he doesn't go into the postgame and keep on crying, he faces what happened and prepares for the next game, without bitching.

Plus you just contradicted youself with the second quote(he really is crying there, unlike Timmy in his postgame)...and he was actually being sarcastic about t he foul, something you might not get."Is that a foul? You tell me.''

I laughed out loud when Hubie made some statement that "Duncan never believes he commits fouls." If anyone has slo-mo, on the replay, you will see that little Timmy made contact with Dirk before Dirk stepped on his foot...as Hubie put it, there was "OBVIOUS" contact but it wasn't so obvious unless you look at the replay. I'm glad Duncan's riled, he's gotten away with so much shit, working the refs during games, it's unconscionable. I always thought he was a stand-up guy and liked him but maybe that was just because he's never had to struggle (with his team, not his play) before so he can look chill. And his talk, first with the stackhouse statement now with the zero contact, means shit if his team's not going to back him up.

now you know how mouse feels about the shave head bet. it was talked about but Kori and Cyber Bob would never shake on it or confirm it.
then when the Spurs beat the Mavs in the semi finals? Kori brings out the bet :lmao

So I guess you missed Duncan's post game comments last night in which he whined about the calls?

Seriously, lose the hypocrisy. It's not going to get you anywhere.

Neither will taking up residence in the fan forum of every opponent of your favorite NBA team, but I digress.

I've always wondered what people would find to hate about Duncan, cause clearly you don't have his amount of success without getting a bunch of haters hating. Now I know.

Oh well, you don't win 3 championships and become the greatest PF to play the game without stepping on a bunch of teams on the way. If the fans of those teams want to hate on him for doing the same thing the rest of the league does then so be it.

LEONARD relax I thought you was a Spurs fan when I made the bet. :lmao

I could not figure out why you had such harsh words for that poster who said he noticed you lost Vbookie cash. You said you don't give a shit about Vbookie cash it's not real money. So then I said let's bet real money not looking at your profile to see you was a Mavs fan, :smokin

it would not had mattered anyway. I don't have any cash to bet , you should have took the bet I would have had to back down :lmao

Agreed. The spurs are old and slower but the Pistons are in their prime. I think the mavs toughest game was last game because the spurs had 3 days off. They survived that test and I see them going up 3-1 on Monday.

No. Dirk cries maybe 70% of the time. Duncan cries 99% of the time.

If you were not a Spurs fan, you would see this. Drop the goggles for a second.

Bitch hell no. Dirk is the BIGGEST cry baby. He gets more fouls called because he cries more. Duncan does complain, but not as much as Dirk.

Everyone complains but Duncan, Bowen, and Howard are the biggest complainers.

There are bigger. Dirk complains more than them.

Duncan has complained about every single call made this post season against him. Even after Howard complained about a bad call Duncan was all over the ref pleading to T him up.

Why should they be afraid? Their team is up 2-1 and could have been up 3-0. If I am a Mavs fan, I am very happy.

I'm sorry. Make the forum private, then you won't have other teams' fans here.

Until then, quit bitching. The "get off our forums" shit is tired and contrived.

Spurs whine more than any other team....this is undeniable

I wouldn't say the Spurs whine, I would only say Duncan whines and that is undeniable. : )

I would agree with that. Then again, IMO, pretty much every superstar in the NBA whines. Hell....most of the non-superstars whine too. Its annoying when a player hacks at the ball, you can hear the slap at home on TV, the ref calls it and the player who did the hacking acts like you just stole his new rims. :lol

Scoreboard is all that counts in the end and your whining-ass pussy boys came up short. You HAVE NO ARGUMENTS.

Dude, I wrote that 2 days and 3 pages ago.

And when it comes to sports, scoreboard really is all that counts. I don't understand the half-assed point you're trying to make. Neither does anyone else for that matter. Don't you have some farming to get to?

Why would Mavs fans be very afraid? It's the Spurs that need to be very afraid. In the games that Spurs win in this series, it is only win by 1 point. Spurs fans need to be more afraid than the Mavs fans.

You know, if the Spurs win games 6 and 7 by 1 point each, the Mavs will have outscored the Spurs by 23 for the series. But here's the thing: it doesn't make a damn bit of difference, because they'll still have gone fishing, just like if the Spurs had swept them.
