Veteran center Scott Williams will be in Cleveland today to undergo a physical. If he passes, he's expected to sign a one-year contract with the Cavaliers. He will likely sign for the veteran's minimum of $1.1 million.
According to an NBA source, the Cavaliers are also believed to be close to getting a deal done with Lucious Harris. The team is believed to be offering Harris a one-year deal, and he might be looking for a longer pact.
Williams, a 15-year vet, will back up Zydrunas Ilgauskas with DeSagana Diop. Harris, who averaged 6.9 points for the Nets last season, can play both guard positions and could bring veteran savvy.
