What exactly is the etymology of the expression "I said" or "I saiiiiidd!" etc.?

its actually a shaq reference

when they won their 3rd title in LA at the fan rally/parade

he was talking to everyone and he was like "put the 4s up I SAID!!", put them up i said!!"-- in the yelling shaq voice while holding 4 fingers in the air (spock almost has it)

and then the spurs whooped their asses

it was hilarious

what increased its hilarity by 100% was on jan 5th at 12:21 AM

a certain moderator and a certain narc we'll call...lamarcus bryant, got totally chode bloaded by cbf in the college forum

I have seen ownage in my day
but none the likes of the events that took place in the early morning hours of jan 5th 2006
