Well I'll agree with most of it, but I don't want to see Nazr on the court.

He played for 1min last game and caused a six or eight point swing all on his own.

He sucks.

:lol I still can't believe that fumble off the perfect Manu Ginobili pass. I think even Manu was pissed at him after that.

Spurs need to have the ball in Parker’s hands during the last seconds of every quarter. As good as Manu Ginobili is, this is the second series where he has been strippted and either caused a turnover or that turnover cost them the game. The last time I happened was against Sacramento. Parker needs to be part of the focal point during the last waning seconds of every quarter if the Spurs have possession. Because he has been clutch, the Mavs will come out and front him thus leaving players like Ginobili, Brent Barry, Michael Finley and other sharp shooters free to pop the three or step in and take the long two.

Frankly, I'll be shocked if the Spurs don't eek out a win tonight. I think a determined Spurs team and a Mav team that will slightly ease off the gas pedal will favor a tied series.

Spurs win and eventually Nazr and Rasho will play well if not against Dallas, then they will be needed against other teams in later rounds.

Oh Gee! you don't even know where that reference came from.

"I Bang Fat Chicks" and "Slump Buster" is a Jim Rome reference that Mark Grace made on his show.

You're wannabe crack on somebody's momma card just got punched for your lack of understanding what a Phat Fat chick is. BUSTED!

Now speaking about your momma, I was gonna bring her to the game on Wednesday but we couldn't wheel her out of the nursing home because she thought her Hovaround was a six speed tranny with all wheel drive and needed gas for power PLUS a parking permit at Big Lots.

Oh, Gee!!

You know, a 3-1 deficit wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. Imagine the energy generated by the spontaneous choad explosions of 5.5 million metroplex residents when the Mavs blow a 3-1 lead.

Oh ye of little faith. The Spurs need to stop three players, Dirk (who's mobility will be limited), Jason Terry (who only likes to shoot from the right, hello? Why do the Spurs keep giving him the right lanes?), and Devin Harris (who can't shoot from more than 10 feet).

Jesus People.
For the bulk of the season, Nazr started and the Spurs set the franchise record for wins despite the injuries.

Yes, he sucked in his 1 minute of play. But, (using golf terms)

If I make it to the Qualify and leading the US Open with Nike Irons....Why the F^&% am I switching to Callaway's before the final round?

Dance with who brought you there.

Spurs 102
Mavs 96

The attitude that "Spurs desire to not lose" = an automatic win is pretty arrogant.

I hope some of you more reasonable Spurs fans do realize that your team could come out fired up and fighting for their lives tonight and STILL lose. It happens.

Now Pete, I know you don't know much about basketball ;) But I'm sure do know that Nazr is a defensive atrocity, has the worst hands in the NBA, and gets in his teammates way on offense. The Spurs won this season in spite of Nazr, not because of him.

If you don't want the Spurs to go small (I see some logic in that) then you should ask for Rasho in the lineup, not Nazr. But Nazr is a frickin' joke at this point.

(That being said, if he gets any minutes tonight, he better just crash the glass and stay the hell out of everyone's way)

PeterBurns

2nd Round

3rd Round

PeterBurns

Rebounds are killing us.
Sorry to say but there is no other rebounder on the team.
Yes, he has stone hands.

But go back to Twin Towers.
Nazr and Tim.
With Manu, Bruce, and Tony.

Make the Mavs play your style.
Tell Nazr to grab 13 boards or go the hell home for the year.

PeterBurns
05-15-2006, 04:24 PM
Shit, If you beat the Suns last year with a big in Amare, and a quick guard in Nash.
Then how is Dallas that freaking different.

Take away the inside with the Bigs, and make them beat you with the outside shot.
If they beat you with the outside shot then fine.
But they are just as nervous to win this game. They don't have the killer instinct not to choke.

No one enters the paint, and no one gets a F'N Offensive rebound.

That's cause the Spurs second big is being guarded by Dirk or Diop/Dampier. It's Manu, Tony, Barry, and Bowen who have to hit the offensive board harder. This is where not having a strong interior player like Glen Robinson hurts the Spurs.

PeterBurns
05-15-2006, 04:29 PM
I agree on those guys needing to hit the off. boards harder...but
Glenn Robinson my ass.
8 Minutes a game last year, and he was not the reason why the Spurs won.

Go Big or GO HOME.

You can't go big against Dallas they are to athletic. You have to beat them with discipline on offense and good defense.

And your almost 3-0 too. The problems as I said before are Horry and Oberto getting too many minutes and the Spurs not hitting the offensive and defensive glass. Fine tune that and the Spurs will be fine.

Nazr played 5 Minutes in the November loss
18 Minutes in the December Win
30 Minutes in the March Win
14 Minutes in the April Loss

Ah, you're right...I forgot about the refs...

Manu fouled out...bad on him...

Barry was 2-4 shooting...he didn't SHOOT anything, not HIT anything...

Mavs are just too much for the Spurs to handle. Their D is scrambling like ants trying to switch...
