The Spurs got a total of three stops in the ENTIRE second quarter- one of which was an offensive foul against Nowitzki.

We're down 2-1 in this series and the Mavericks are running layup and dunk drills on our asses for twelve straight minutes?!

Is this what we're bringing to the table tonight?

This game was under control, and small ball was working until the tempo changed drastically due to a completely bogus technical foul on finley (after a duncan and 1 of course).

Please don't blame the refs on this one dude.

When Erick Dampier is dunking on your net and the ensuing possession features an alley-oop dunk from Harris to Stackhouse, then you've lost all semblance of pride.

Spurs look like they're ready to waive the white flag.

dude, finley went for OR position, dirk flailed his arm, and there was a technical foul for delay of game

all of this after the first duncan and 1

And this contributed to Dallas shooting over 70% for the quarter?

no but spurs were doing the damn thing and up like 8 until that happened

Remember when Spurs had 2 big men in the game that allowed them to outrebound teams at least some of the time and prevent layup drills?
Remember when we didn't have to rely on defensive stoppers such as Finley and Van X?

Dallas was just cold. We were still giving up layups, we still couldn't beat anybody on the glass.

SPurs also played Rasho... coincidence????

Dalas would be kicking our asses by 20 if SPurs played old Spur defense. THey have to adjust and change their game a little to win this series.

BTW, that alley oop was all Avery. He knew Pop's defense going into that possession and totally owned him. Not the team's fault. It happens.

If Rasho would be in the game, Dallas would not get in the paint so easy

Agreed. This small ball has the Spurs running around all out of position. Like chickens with their heads cut off. Go with what got you here.

Yup, once upon a time our game used to be D D D, and inside out offence... now it's matador D and guard-crazy offence.

No wonder we're going out of the playoffs in game 5.

Disappointed, very disappointed.
