Did any of you Spurs fans here watch the other 46 minutes of the game?

I am not being a smart ass, I really would like to get a Spurs fan's point of view on the rest of the game.

Devin Harris vs. Tony Parker was amazing to watch!

Jason Terry was on fire.....or ice cold. take your pick of superlatives.

Manu finally showed up. No way he is not starting again.

Did TD get a new foot? He dominates like no other right now.

The Dunking Deutschman gutted out a nice game with 1.75 ankles.

Mav's Fan ---- tired of both sides acting like pissy little bitches about the refs. Bring on game 5 and let the players play.

Both teams played well, but Dallas' youth helped them in OT. Spurs ran out of gas.

When both teams work so hard the whole game, it sucks when an 80 yr old man gives one team a break.

If you were on the bad end of the bad calls, you'd be pissed too. Hell, Cuban would probably already have a million in fines by now.

Are there any Spurs fans who can discuss the game without bringing up the refs?

Understood, this is why I am so pissed right now. Most overzealous Spurs fans won't admit it, but these teams are on the exact same level right now and it sucks that we can't share a good conversation about what was a legendary game up until 2 minutes.

Here's to hoping we all get what we want in game 5......players playing the same game as game 4 for ALL 48 minutes.

I have another observation:

Why do Mav fans create anti-Spur or disrespectful usernames in a Spurs fan forum and expect some kind of reasonable response?

Charley Rosen on Fox sports called the Bowen foul as unjust, a bad call at a bad time. Said Nowitzki bumped Bowen as much as Bowen bumped nowitzki. Oh well, it shouldn't have even come down to that thanks to the Mavs and an errant Barry pass. We needed Manu down the stretch.

a reasonable mavs fan, how did that happen? The game was fantastic and should have been decided by the players. However, it's hard to overlook that blatant charge by dirk that was called a block on Tim. Total game changer of a call.

Nevertheless, that's what your owner has worked so hard for over the past several years.

Come on, that screen name is tame compared to the obscene stuff posted out here. See the above post.

Good hearted ribbing is all I am doing w/ that screenname. Not here to flame anybody, just like to see the other side.........granted it helps when we are winning.

Who cares what his screen name is. Look at the classless responses he's gotten after asking a decent question.

There are pleny of other observations. Obviously you're tuning those threads out and focusing on the ref complaining ones.

I posted this last night. I'm not buying into any of the conspiracy theories, etc.

The Spurs Can Never Get A Stop

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Everyone can bitch about the refs, complain about missed freethrows, and all that. But bottom line is that the Spurs can't get a stop.

Their defense is horrible right now. The mini-me lineup can't stop anyone. They switch on the pickandrolls and Duncan gets caught guarding Harris and Tony gets left on Dirk. The defense just escorts the Mavs down the lane.

I can't really blame Pop THAT much because the centers suck, but damnit the defense sucks with no bigs in the lineup (outside Tim).

Congrats to the Mavs on another victory.

Not tuning them out or focusing on the ref threads, rather trying to sift through the 5000 thread's about the ref's to get a good back and forth dialouge about the rest of the game.

And Kori, I know you don't make excuses and always appreciate reading your takes on the game.

I agree Kori, but if we go big, then Tim has to chase around that 7 foot Carrot Top. All the giant Crout has to do is step on Tim's foot 6 times and .... you know the rest. :smokin

The refs are a joke this series. There are plenty of bad calls on both sides, at least they were more or less even in Game 4.

The Spurs had their chances to win Games 3 and 4 and couldn't come up with any stops or one last big score in either game.

The Mavs and Dirk are playing smarter than the Spurs. If the refs are going to bail you out if you take to the basket into your defenders chest, then it is simply smart basketball to continue to do that.
