If a series is tied at 3 wins each (hence the need for a game 7)...who is NOT facing elimination? Is it really still called "elimination" at the end of the road? Looks to me like that would be just plain losing (winners=champs). The Spurs are facing elimination in game 5 because there is more stuff to come after that game. The Pistons (and the Spurs) were just facing being the LOSERS in game seven of the finals last year.

I got to give credit for the spurs fans that are sticking with them. I agree the series is far from over and the spurs winning 3 in a row is not impossible for them considering they won 63 games with an injured Duncan and Ginobili. The mavs will have to play their best again and get a little lucky to win this series. It will likely come down to the wire again. The mavs fans I guess are a little out of control but this is the greatest moment in our franchise if we pull this series out.
