Spurs fans: if we lose, will we root for Mavs?

I am curious, brethren. If we lose to the Mavs, who are you going to root for? The Suns? Don't hate on the Mavs team or the Dallas fans in general. Surely you dont think all Dallas fans are like the ones trolling in here do you?

I am still holding on to the dream that we can do what Dallas did, win 3 straight and move on. But if we don't, i wish the best for the Mavs.

The only way I would ever pull for the Mavs is if they were playing the Lakers or Heat. and then only in a half-hearted I don't give a care way. I live closer to Dallas than San Antonio and their fans are obnoxious. I don't like the Cowboys or Mavs and I live in an area INFESTED with these Dallas fans. If it were not for the fans, then maybe I could pull for them. Oh I forgot I don't like their "watch me, mommy" :baby owner either. Anyway I have NOT given up on my Spurs. :flag:

If the Spurs lose this series, I will be rooting for the Clippers to take the West; ultimately, I will move on to root for the Pistons. If Phoenix should win the West (and they probably will), I will have to root for them. But, I hope the Pistons win it all if the Spurs can't.

Exactly. Contrast mouse and some of the others with Pistons < Spurs and Darrin and Dunc. If they hadn't been so hostile, rude and said things that are clearly not true, I might have cheered for them. Although Mouse has made some respectful comments lately, it makes up but a small percentage of the body of his work. Largely because of Mouse, I will root for the opponents of the Mavs every time and lol everytime they miss a shot or lose.

The Pistons fans have shown a lot more class and moderation than almost all of the Mavs fans. The Pistons have actually won a championship recently and had the best record in the league. They have a reason to be confident. And they are, but they have been classy enough to not be in your face and cocky about it.

I like virtually every Piston fan who posts here. The comments that they make are intelligent and reflect a lot of knowledge of, love of and appreciation for the game of basketball. Hard to say who is my favorite Pistons fan cause I like all 3 of the posters above. I might lean towards Pistons < Spurs because he always encourages us and roots hard for our team.

Pistons will beat the Cavs in 6. Pistons will beat the Heat in 4 or 5. Pistons will beat Mavs in 4 (if the Mavs beat us).

Pistons < Spurs may need to consider changing name to Pistons > Spurs.
