It's funny that people actually take Corona outdoors...you really shouldn't. It'll spoil the beer big time. The biggest flaw of Corona in a bottle is that it's put in a clear bottle.

Unlike many beers, Corona is bottled in a clear bottle, increasing the opportunity for spoilage. Exposure to sunlight significantly damages the taste of beer, yielding a taste that is often described as "skunky". This is the result of the essential hop oils spoiling due to UV exposure.

You can have mine. I don't like beer that has to have something added to make it drinkable.

It's for a specific mission... get off your high horse for a second.

Have you seen our past posts on various other beers?

No one is saying you drink this and only this.

Take Corona outdoors? That's funny? That's what you're supposed to do! The taste doesn't break down in the less than half-hour it would take you to drink a beer on the beach or a patio.

What you read references the storage and displaying of beer and exposure to florescent lighting, not taking it outside to drink it.

But this happens mainly during the conditioning process, which is normally done in the brewery. I brew my own beer so I've had this problem before. Green and Brown bottles are the best during bottle conditioning. One question though, Heinekens are put in the green bottles, yet they always seem to taste skunkier. Not that its bad though, it goes nicely with some skunky weed.
