1) Force Dallas into making outside shots on the road, by clogging the lanes
2) More Rebounds
3) MOST IMPORTANTLY. The Refs are going to let them play tonight.
No ticky-tack foul crap.
This will be old school 80's style basketball.

yea we have NEVER EVER succeeded with this small ball crap. why are we, all of a sudden adjusting to our OPPENENTS when they should be adjust to US! we need to stick with what works for us and let the mavs make the adjustments to play our game.

You have a better chance of it snowing before the game.
3) MOST IMPORTANTLY. The Refs are going to let them play tonight.
I don't believe that, unfortunately.

I've been wondering the same thing about using a big or semi-big lineup. Why the hell can't we get a big lineup out there and play some zone D mixed in with man-to-man? I want to see the Dallas players consistently make some outside shots, seems by playing some zone with our bigs in there we could:
1. Force them to shoot from the outside more
2. Control the boards better, also generate more offensive boards and 2nd chance shots
3. Get more blocks, which lead to transition baskets
4. Finally, establish more of a physical attitude in the series, make them react to us instead of the other way around
Just some thoughts to consider, Go Spurs! :fro

I predict Horry getting some major minutes tonight.
Finley did a decent job on Dirk while Bowen was on the bench, but Horry's got the length to contest the Kraut's jumpshots and can stay with him on those awkward goofy drives.
