What's to whine about. It's not like the refs handed us the game at the charity stripe.

It's not the nature of Mavs fan to whine about a loss. You better recognized that for future references.

You're right nothing to complain about, Mavs didn't execute, we missed our oppurtunities to close. Terry didn't get the timeout even though he had both arms around the ball and his hands formed a T, and his teamates were screaming it.

That's clearly not a call........ So why complain....??

that's why mark cuban has paid millions in fines and avery made the bear hug comment. You're an idiot. If the spurs were handed the game at the charity stripe like the mavs in games 3 and 4 cuban would pay 5 million more to investigate.

You can't call a Timeout when the other team has their hands on the ball...

Why would a Dallas fan complain about the refs after games 2,3, & 4?

you mean when Manu had the ball first and Terry jumped on top to tie him up. You're dumb, but nevertheless mavs got the ball back anyways.

because the refs didn't give them the game from the charity stipe in the 4th like they've done in the past. They've gotten used to being handed games and not having to earn it in crunch time.

And we shouldnt have had that ball then... Nobody tipped that ball. If we're pointing out the reasons why the Mavs lost - let's look at all the missed shots, all the turnovers, all the steals...

Manu was hot. Give the man his credit. He had a helluva game. He played the way the Spur fans had been waiting on him to play all series. Something clicked for him. Finally. That steal from Dirk, that steal from Terry... Those were all excellent plays. The Spurs played well last night. From tip to final buzzer - they outscored the Mavs, outhustled the Mavs, and outran the Mavs. So the Spurs should have won.... Period. No whining about what wasnt called - bc there were still calls not called for both teams and some calls that were clearly silly for both teams... but they happened and in the end - the Spurs executed better than the Mavs did for 48 mins.

BTW - Does Manu have invisible braces? I was listening to him in his lil interviews and he sounded like he just got braces - or dental work. Anybody know?

How could Terry's hands be formed in a T and he be hitting Finley in the nuts at the same time? :rolleyes

Listen no team was in the penalty in the 4th that's why officiating can't be an issue. The players got to decide the game unlike games 3 & 4.

Manu does have clear braces.

they're showing class because they have no choice. the refs let the the teams play in the 4th for a change and when it came down to making a SHOT instead of a FREE-THROW, the mavs fell short. THE LOSS FALLS ON THE TEAM FOR A CHANGE.

I guess the refs have evened out in this series. Games 1 and 5 the calls went to the spurs and 3 and 4 went to the mavs. The calls were irrelevant in game 2 since the mavs clearly were better that game.

Nice thought, but just about every Mavs fan I've seen online has brought up they think Bowen fouled Dirk on the block, and Parker held Dirk on the put-back...

Followed by a claim they aren't going to whine about it...

it won't be even until the spurs are handed a game in the 4th quarter. Game 6 would be a nice start.

Amen to that. Even if the Spurs were "handed" game 5, Mavs still have the advantage at 2 games to 1 in that department (please see screwings in games 3 and 4).

Personally I feel like the officiating was poor in Game 1 both ways. Game 2 = Mavericks win. Period. Game 3= Mavericks Fourth-Quarter-Free-throw-fest. Game 4= Mavericks Fourth-Quarter-Free-throw-fest. Game 5= Refs let the teams play, and let the Mavs miss the last shot (and the tip in to clinch the series).

First off, congrats to the Spurs winning game 5. Secondly, I actually was at the game and didn't hear anybody complaining about the refs, most of the Mavs fans were just walking to their cars. The people doing the screaming were mostly some drunk Spurs fans who were going apeshit, undestandably so I guess. There were lots of nice Spurs fans, one in particular with a huge Spurs flag wrapped around him who said the officiating was bad both ways, but there are some real weirdos who drink like there's no tomorrow. There's no outrage about the calls, the Mavs came back from being down 10 late in the third to just barely losing by one point. They made some mistakes at the end, no big deal, I'm still proud of their effort, it's one frickin' point. Why aren't there any ushers and parking attendants at the AT&T center? That was kind of weird, the parking was the longest I've ever waited to get out of an arena.
