mavs were down 3-1 last year - i thought it went 2-2 each team winning on the other's court.

Really? You remember that many? Just pokin' some fun. There are some factual errors, though.

2006 Phoenix over LA
1997 Miami over New York
1995 Houston over Phoenix
1981 Boston over Philadelphia

You remember all of these.

2001 Detroit over Orlando

The Pistons didn't make the playoffs in 2001. This happened two years later.

1994 Houston over Phoenix

They did play a seven-game series, but the series was tied 2-2 when game 5 started.

Crap.. my bad.... I thought that series in 94 was what gave birth to the name Choke City. That's what I get for posting things off the top of my head instead of checking them. :lol

EDIT: They were down 0-2. I knew that series was the birth of that name.

How may teams have come back from 3-1 and lost Game 7 at home? I bet few if any.

Why bother with old stats on who does this or that? If we put stock in that, then there is no way Spurs should have won last nite. Remember how bad there are facing elimination?

It is all about who shows up to play at what level on that particular nite.

Dunno, but the '95 Rockets has to be #1.

Two road wins to stave off elimination? That's nuts.

The '68 76ers were the defending NBA Champs. What Boston did was pretty incredible though they were the greatest team in NBA history.

The defending champion 1982 Boston Celtics did just that, against the same team they had come back from a 3-1 deficit to win against the previous year...This series aint over.

Since it's out there, the '94-95 Knicks also came back from a 3-1 deficit only to lose game seven at home.

I would have to agree. It's far from over.
