Is that correct?
I was hoping that the Saturday game in NY would be televised.

Don't know about TV but for those out-of-towners NBA.com is offering the preseason free on Audio League Pass.

Last season they did. We watched one of them at Fatso's.

Last year we were coming off a championship.
Maybe a sports bar could get the Comcast feed for the Philly game.

Any1 know how much NBA.com charges for their league pass? That is where you can get access to NBATV right? and watch games that are not televised nationally?

It depends. I ordered League Pass on Comcast last year and, in one of the most spectacular rip-offs of all time, it did NOT include games that they snatched away later for NBA-TV.
This year I note that NBA-TV is available on Comcast; they better include it with League Pass.

I had to upgrade my digital cable package with Comcast to receive the NBATV Channel. That cost me like $5 more a month.
I'm not sure if the League Pass includes the NBATV channel but I would guess that it doesn't. I believe the early bird rate for League Pass this season will be $169.00.

cool. thanks !
I know last season down here in San Antonio, I was able to see all the Pacers pre-season games on directv. I think they go by just the ones that are televised on a particular Fox or whatever station.

MSG might show the game saturday, wich is on DirecTV.
Then MSG will replay the game to death.
Ala last year.
And this weekend is a free total choice preview of all the channels, so you'll be able to catch it.

According to the NBA, Saturday's game is not on MSG. It's not televised at all.

The only two Spurs preseason games with any coverage at all (and it's not local) are the Philadelphia game on the 21st (which someone mentioned you might be able to catch on Comcast) and the game against Houston on 27th (which is on Houston Ch.51).
So I guess people will see those two on Directv.

Preseason games = commercials.
Commercials = revenue.
No wonder Parker can't get a damn raise.

The Rockets vs. Kings (preseason) game will be televised by ESPN.
And my Lakers will be televised also on TNT (preseason game as well)
And the Spurs???
Where is the respect??

So, Kori, essentially, what you're saying is, well...

We had a GTG last year for a preseason game, too.
I guess we'll wait and see if any of the road games are going to be on Directv, then call it from there.

Don't forget to remind Sequ of any GTGs right before they start since I think he has Goldfish memory and his mind reboots every 7 seconds. :)

I wasn't talking about that game. But yes, me, you, Kris and LJ were at Fatso's for one. And you couldn't stay for the whole game.
