For those who don't know, Stan was a coach for the Spurs during some of the Gervin years. He was also Michael Jordan's coach as a rookie with the Bulls. Stan is recovering from a stroke he had when he was on Lenny Wilkins staff in Toronto. He had high praise for Pop, also.

Is it online for us to watch? I miss him a lot and I actually got to say a few words to him while he was on the bench during a Spurs game with the San Diego Clippers back in 83. Hope you get well, Stan.

Brilliant story. I wish you God's speed in your recovery Stan. It's been a long time since I saw you on that cool night in San Diego 23 years ago....such a long time ago.
