It seems like SA is the place to be for great veterans who achieved individual successes, yet always came up short in the playoffs before they won a ring. Looking back to 99, 03 and 05, there are 3 names that stand out.

1999- Jerome Kersey ends a long great 17 yr career ofplayoff futility when he joins up with SA to get his first ring. TD and DRob see to it that his career ends happily.

2003- Kevin Willis joins the list of NBA champions when he also joins TD and DRob ,and reaches the pinacle of a great career with a ring, well deserved, I might add.

2005- Glen Robinson joins the Spurs hoping for a shot at the elusive ring and is rewarded when SA beats Detroit in the Finals, and ends his nice career at the top.

2006- Michael Finley, will earn his ring more than any of the others, because the Spurs have needed Finley more than they needed Kersy, Willis and Robinson to win the championship. I think I will be happier for him more than any of the others.

2006- NVE has also had a great career that lacks a ring, and he too will join the list of accomplihed pros who only reached the pinacle as SA Spurs, when they had opportunities on other teams.

If SA wins it again, who will be next in line next year to join in the fun? KG should look into playing with TD at some point in the next few years. :)

id love to see X and Fin hold up the trophy.

Especially Fin.

Hes like the Kevin Willis of this group.

All those years of toil and hard work, and may finally get one at the end of his career.

Come on Spurs!!!!!

Shit is it the end of Finley's career? Hell I thought he was only 33.

Finley and VanX want to grab the brass ring, while Cuban just wants to grab ass.

Both have had great careers and this would top it all off. X has been passing good and Finley has been great.

Would love to see Fin and NVE get rings, but I want NVE to earn it. By shooting lights out tonight and dropping daggers like he did in college.

I know, but I feel that whoever wins this game will win the championship....that is just my opinion, but it is what I feel.

It's uncalled for to disrespect guys who played out their career with their team. Miller stuck with his team, win or lose, and you have to respect that. So far, Kidd is doing the same thing. Ain't nothing wrong with that.

For those that won a ring with us there are others who didn't. Terry Porter comes to mind... but yeah... whatever... Spurs by 9.

When Dallas whens this game I am gonna laugh my ass off and just piss all you spurs fans off. Then I'll go join a Suns/Clippers board and trash them about how were gonna sweep them.
