Completely changing your lineup from what got you 60+ wins.

Doubling every Mav who gets the ball...leaving wide open players all over the court.

Telling Parker to shoot 20+ a game...pretty much eliminating assists.

Totally changing our game and team, to adjust to the Mavs. While not making the Mav's change and adjust to "our" game.

Playing "small ball"...with the best small ball team in the league.

Here's to you "Mr. Coach who coulda had one of the greatest dynasty's in NBA history. "

Why don't you meet me in Corpus? I'll buy the bait.

When you say "this one's on Pop", you're refering to the series right? Not just game 7?

Yeah, what's up with doubling Stackhouse to leave Terry wide open for a 3?

Go to zone defense. That's all I can say. And start Horry in the second half.

I can't understand what Pop is thinking. It worked in game 6 because Stack rushed his shots or turned it over. However, Stack said he would be watching for it tonight and play under control. He's found the open man and it's killed the Spurs.

Spurs, don't look good at all. If they loose, this team needs do get blown up. Keep only the big 3, and perhaps 1 other veteran.

It's hilarious. When you go small you normally have the speed advantage. The Spurs are both small and slow. We get blown by constantly leaving TD out of position to get rebounds and prone to foul trouble. A lineup with Nazr/Rasho couldn't possibly play worse defense. But matchups!

See obstructedview's thread after game 4.

Absofreakinlutely.

Go away from your formula and play MAVS ball. I think Pop has done an excellent job since 03, but this series has completely astounded me.

Take away the freakin lane and make them shoot. If we lose to that I don't mind so much, but losing playing their way is just ridiculous.

You can't play zone when your oponent is hitting threes.

I have been a Spurs fan since 1992 and I can't believe I am actually agreeing with this.........sorry Pop............

I've said it all series long and when we tied it 3-3 I wanted to trust you for game 7, but damn..........playing that zone and not being able to swallow your pride and put Nazr or for God's sake Rasho in for those rebounds..........

I am realy emotional right now, but had to get this off my pounding chest.
Haven't felt like this since 0.4.....the last playoffs I wasn't in San Antonio......

SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Should have been titled: "Militant Pop strikes again." You can't tell me that Pop would 1) Abandon his whole defensive philosohpy he has used since day 1 with Duncan-- funnel everybody inside to your TWO big men-- and 2) abondon his sometimes arogant "This is who we are. This is our lineup. We are no going to change our core during the middle of the playoffs" attitude in the name of "matchups". No, something happened after game one in the Sac series with Naz that Pop let his own ego sacrifice our repeat chances. Hopefully, Naz talks about it in the next few days.

Fouling Dirk was inexcusable. That's highschoolish. They had 'em in regulation and gave it up out of stupidity.
