Two points from the bench and a total of 34 minutes combined in an overtime game. Spurs need some serious retooling in the off season.

thats why you guys really lost, that and you just didnt execute in OT.I actually thought you guys would win it in regulation but looks like you ran outta gas. you guys shouldnt have taken it to a game 7 theres too much risk involved .Spurs and pistons both made their series harder on themselves then they had to,only differance is we survived and you didnt it kinda sucks cause i wanted to beat you guys this year in an honorabnle rematch now we have to beat up your kid brother :depressed

No shit. Our bench is usually what wins games. Our bench was a chode all series. Unbelievable. 2 points across 7 players, unexcusable. So excuse all seven (from their jobs).

Spurs carried 13 players on the roster. Six of them are bigs and none of those bigs was particularly mobile. Two of their 7 smalls were useless. That is a formula for getting screwed.

Well, you know, with the acquisitions of X and Finley we are the deepest team in the league. Most of our bench would be starters on other teams.

2 bench points ain't getting it done.

That's why we ran out of gas in OT.

42 to 49 minutes for the starters is why they ran out of gas in OT. Pop seemed to view the bench as mandatory substitutions without any thought to actually getting them involved in the game. 1-6 shooting, very few touches, 2 points... Pop turned the strongest bench in the NBA into the Spurs weakness.
