They say time heals all wounds. I think time just numbs and dulls the pain.

Probably not for a long, long time. I will miss Spurs basketball.

The 04 collapse vs Lakers took me months to get over.

Acutally, I think that trauma has prevented me from getting so involved again. :)

Few days... I've been through so much worse than a basketball loss in the last couple months. This is nothing...

Its like a bad dream that sticks with you for awhile!

It will take some time until I can immerse myself in Cowboys football!

In fact, I am tormented by thinking of those last 32 seconds!

I need some "let it go" therapy!

Oh, Gee!!

I'll be pissed today

The hardest part is that there's no more Spurs games to get ready for. The build up between games, then game day. Gone.

Believe it or not. I am not as upset as I thought I would be. Here is how I see it:

1. It was the best 7 game series in the NBA in a LONG time
2. It took 7 games and two overtimes to dethrone us (we went down fighting)
3. Whether we want to admit it or not, the Mavs are a very good team now that they learned defense (from an ex-Spur), the loss isn't embarassing.
4. Manu FOULED Dirk on a layup with a 3 point lead and 20 seconds left...thats a stupid mistake that you just can't make in a close game/series.

I hate fishing in May, but the things listed above ease the pain a bit. We will have a decent off season filled with rest and some new players and come back with a chip on our shoulders in 2006-2007. Go Spurs Go!!!!!

About a week of looking at the sour expression on POS Cuban's face when the Mavs are eliminated

I am still not over the 79 ECFs loss to the Washington Bullets...if that answers your question.

I'm over it already - and have my fingers (and toes) crossed that the Suns can finish off Dallas w/in the next month.

Win, lose or draw, the Spurs are a great basketball team and a wonderful group of men. I'm very proud of all of them. They had a fabulous season.

It's time to move on and see what's going to happen next for the Spurs.

You can't tell me that that "power failure" that nite in the 4th qtr was a coincidence.

Well, maybe you can but I'll still call bullshit.

After the 5th game of small ball, I let go then. It was all over but the cryin and whinin.

The team did well, considering it all. It's now anybody game in the WWF/NBA. A little drama(refs'), a little luck and who knows who will be the champs next year. I just hope we have the right players to play whatever game we need to play, to get the job done.

I was pretty much over it right away. I was watching the game with a couple of Mavs fans, and you should have seen their faces when Ginobilli made that 3. I almost felt bad for them.

When the Mavs finally won in overtime, these two guys were very gracious about it and didn't do any shit talking. One of them bought me a tequila shot, so that helped.

I realized that I had just witnessed one of the best NBA playoff series -- EVER.

Happy for Mavs fans, because we know how they feel. It probably even feels better for them, because the Spurs have knocked them out of the playoffs so many times.

I would have been over it by now if Dallas just blew us out by 20.

But the way we lost it at the end of regulation when we were up by 3 eats at me a little bit.

it stings when i really think about it but it's not the hammerdrop that was .4. manu's foul was nuts, but things have been a little out of sinc all year. last year, he drives through detroit and dunks it, this year he's driven twice and tried floating it and both results have sucked. i'm hoping the off season is more fruitful, i was happy with finley but had worries about van exel and regardless thought neither put us over the top for a repeat. so here' hoping they get garnett :)

Too bad I live in Dallas and have to hear this shit all day everyday.
I'll be pissed until next year. If we're that upset, think how Manu feels.

I'm over it. Before the playoffs started I didn't think they'd repeat because I thought Dallas, or Phoenix and without doubt Detroit, would beat 'em.

Spurs didn't want it this year, had the game WON and just pissed it away. They deserve to be fishing. And one more thing, that Ginobili worshipping thing....that needs to stop. He needs to learn how to play within' himself, stay in control and stop playing like a rookie.
