Anyone know how much the parking is at Fiesta Texas ??
thier website tells you jack crap.

ALSO- can you go in and out? I want to know if I can bring a cooler lunch in the car, go eat that and then re-enter the park.

TIA.

Yes, you can leave a cooler in your car ... and go in & out ... they will stamp your hand or whatever. The parking lot is usually full of people that do that.

I'm not sure what the parking is ... but a season parking pass is only like $20.

I wanna go to Fiesta Texas!!

online tickets are only $31.99 !!!

I've never been and this is Emo's 1st time since he was 7.
We used to go to Astroworld twice a year. (RIP astroworld... RIP).

Anyway- my just turned 8 yr old brother got a free ticket to Fiesta ticket as part of his all year A student reward package. It expires on June 30th so we have to take him before that.

I'm excited - he doesn;t get to do much since he has epilepsy. But he earned this and we are upping his meds for the next 3 weeks so that hopefully nothign will go wrong at the park.

Two things:

1. Have any of you ever been to Cedar Point? I have been to Six Flags Great America, and it simply doesn't compare. If you ever get the chance to go to Northern Ohio or Southern Michigan, take a day and go, you will not be dispointed.

2. Is it really that hot outside down where most of you live? (Central Texas) It finally got into the seventies here in Michigan and everyone is running around and jumping for joy. How long does your summer typically last?

Why do people need an amusement park to encourage them to go outside?

We have season passes and parking passes and have already got out money's worth out of it. And now the water park is open!!

We never do the carnival thing. Not even for Fiesta.

So don't be surprised if you see us out there some day!

I grew up in Defiance, Ohio and Yes, Cedar Point is the best park we've been too. I agree, if you are in that area you should make it a point to go to Cedar Point..the Roller Coast!!

1. No I grew up in New England and then moved to Texas. the only other places I've been ofr more than 24 hours are Florida, Kansas, & Louisiana.

2. It's 10:55 am and 84 degrees out. It's been kinda chilly today.
Should get to 90 + about 3pm or so. Then I will consider going to the Pool.

Summer started the 3rd week of March. It will last untill the 2nd week of November. Fall is from tehn untill Dec.20th. Winter is from Dec 21st till the 2nd week of Feb. Then you have 4 weeks of Spring.

I love Schlitterbahn, but the chances of me takign my epilepic brother to a water park are just about nil.

He's already drowned once. :depressed He was in The Corpus Children's hospitol for 7 days after being resusitated being treated for adema (secondary drowning). the brain damage he got from drowning made his epilepsy worse.
thats why he;s an 8 yr old graduating the 1st grade. Although he did manage to carry all A's :tu

We got offered this deal through one of Ed's co-workers. $50 got us a trip to Dallas, Hotel, meals, 2-day tickets to the Speedway (Nascar), and an opportunity to nose around in the pit. That $50 covers the both of us. :elephant

It's wierd that Sea World charges bu ku bucks to get in for just one day..

They ONLY have either a season pass or a 2 day that's like almost as much as a season.

I tried the waterpark 2 years ago and the river tube thing was SUPER kiddy.. not deep enough.. trashed my knees (im 6' 4).

Never been to Schlitterbahn, mostly because of the costs and I've heard the lines are very long. Also because Fiesta Texas has a waterpark.
Yeah, I know it is nothing compared to Schlitter but all I care about is getting cooled off and watching the MILF's.

I'm gonna go one of these days though.

a. the cost to schlitter is not that much compared to Fiesta or sea world - $35 compared to $46/$52.

b. the lines are not that long. I have gone more than 10 times and about 2 of those times were during very busy/overcrowded days where I did have to wait in line more than 1 hr. But thats less than 20% of the time I have been. Msot of the time I am just hopping form ride to ride to river to river liek a crazy woman.

c. you can bring a cooler full of food and drinks into Schlitterbahn - thast saves you a butt load of $$ right there.

d. any sprite can will save you even more money. Plus the 2 day ticlket is worth it sionce you can go the 2nd day later in the season.

e. the lines that you do wait in are all inteh shade and you're getting sprayed with water.

f. turkey legs and grilled corn.

His seizures are not triggered by visual stimulai. Ie video games, strobe lights etc.
He has atypical cluster petit mal seizures.
:lol we laugh saying that kids gotta be different at everything - we've met only 2 other families who have a kid with seizures like Brians.
