what are good seats to get?
i was thinking along outfiled fence but then i realized this is pretty far from home plate so?????
i think for the price though theyre going to be the closest i can get. has anyone sat in that area before? in any major league park?
i want to be close enough to yhell at players but not far enough to not see anything, which is why im hesitatn to get outfield fence

3rd base line, or 1st base line... I never sit farther into the triangel then 1st or 3rd base. I liek to se the action in the out field too.

I like the 1st base line myself. You can see all the action, see the home team as they come in and out of the dugout and also close enough to see the pitches and tell what they are, and you can really hear the ball hit the glove too, which I like for some odd reason. It is also a great place for heckling. If you want to heckle the visiting team, sit on the 3rd base line.

I don't know what park you are looking to go to but I found some great deals for seats below cost on eBay. This was for the Rangers though and it was a day game in August, so I can see why there were not that many takers! :lol

We always sit on the 1st baseline at the Missions games.

If you want a real fan experience, the bleachers.

Blaze and I were in the RF bleachers to see the O's play the Red Sox. It was hilarious.

as close to 3rd base as possible
why?

why?

Because you get to see the 3rd base coach in action, you get to see the home team players come out of the dugout and tip their caps to you, you get to watch the pitches closely, and you get a chance to have the ball girls toss you some foul balls, and they are usually pretty hot looking.

hmmm...melmart says 1st base to see players come out and you say 3rd. whos right? to be honest, in all the years ive watched baseball and played, little league of course, i never paid attention to that

Home team is on 1st base side, away team is on 3rd. So it depends on who you want to see.

We always sit on the 1st baseline at the Missions game and the visiting team is always right in front of us.

Halfway between home plate and third base, slightly elevated.

Well worth $12 for the five or six times per year I go watch the (AA) Mississippi Braves.

I love the outfield. Every warning-track fly-ball looks like a monster blast. Besides, if I catch a ball it would make so much better a story if it's a home-run and not some foul ball.

ShoogarBear

Because that's the only way I can ever get close to 3rd base these days.

i always sit 3rd baseline, but 1st baseline gets you more hard hit foul balls. i just like the angle from third, no reason other than that...

In the club seats right in front of Cal Ripken's box at Camden Yards. Still the best baseball seats I ever had.

Horry For 3!
