i'd tell him..........."we lose".
in some funny way i think this game 7 loss was the most important loss in Spurs history.
Nothing. He knows everything that he needs to know. Besides I remember once... he was asked did he try to cheer up one of his teammates, to encourage him (I think it was Rasho, I don't know what the occasion was) and he said something like: "No, I don't do things like that. We are professional players, he doesn't need me telling this sort of stuff. Everyone has his own ritual, his own thoughts, so it really wouldn't be ok for me to jump in, when he is trying to concentrate or put himself together." His real statements were COMPLETELY different, maybe I wrote few words from there :lol but the meaning was something like that. I think he wouldn't want us telling him anything about the game, come on! :lol

Pop, I need some help on the boards and defense. If we're gonna win this thing let's dump small ball and go back to what we used all year to win the most games in our history.
After all, the worst thing that could happen is we get down by 20 points in the half and have to dig our way out. We could change tactics at the half. Pretty please?

Hmmmm, contemplating what happened in the Mavs/Spurs series and considering what might have been can be nothing other than whining.
:rolleyes
If that's true, though, I'd be far more content being a whiner than being a loser who pathetically trolls other boards -- particularly when my team is about to play a game. Probably just me, though.

Duncan took two full bags of IV fluids after the game. If he didn't dunk, it was because his legs were cramping from dehydration. The man definitely left it all out there, and if I fault him for anything, it's for not going to Pop at the start of OT and telling him how bad he was, and that Manu needed to be the focus of the offense. Stop the hate.

The SPURS lost that game -- no single player is responsible for that loss and anyone who tries to pin it on a single player is a fool.
The Spurs wouldn't have even been close without Duncan, or Ginobili, or Parker, or anyone else who participated. Did players make mistakes? Sure. Is one mistake bigger than others? Only because some choose to see it that way.

Estatic...nobody hating. Manu cost the Spurs three games in the playoffs because of him not playing smart basketball.
Tim may have left it out there but he is also the captain of that team. Dehydration may be a part but the Spurs simply didn't play with any intensity or heart at all against a Dallas team that was up for them.
I can put blame on any one player but they are a team...WIN OR LOSE.
As Way Down Town said: the SPURS lost the series.
I'd show him game footage of what happend on the last possesion before OT.

Dunk the basketball when you are one foot infront of the basket. Quit with the pussy footing around and trying to lay everything in with you fingertips.

I would tell TD to box out Manu on Dirk's drive to the basket with 22 secs left in the game. Had he done that, SA would be up 2-1 on Phoenix right now.
