(this is the last time I'm trying, guys) My comments in red.

# 5 Hendricks Chevy: NASCAR announced that Kyle Busch, driver of the #5 Kellogg's Chevy for Hendrick Motorsports, has been fined, penalized points and placed on probation because of a rule infraction this past Sunday during the Coca-Cola 600 at Lowe’s Motor Speedway. Busch was in violation of Section 12-4-A (actions detrimental to stock car racing) of the NASCAR Rule Book. He disobeyed a directive from a NASCAR official, entered the racing surface without authorization and threw an object at another competitor’s car during the event (that's one of the funniest things I have ever seen in NASCAR, Kyle throwing that Hans device at Casey Mears while the NASCAR official had him by the arm, trying to keep him off the track...almost as good as Robby Gordon throwing his helmet at Mikey on the track last season!). He has been fined $50,000, penalized 25 Driver Championship points and placed on probation until Dec. 31. The infraction also resulted in car owner Rick Hendrick being penalized 25 Owner Championship points.

Also, Don Richardson, crew member on the #5 Chevrolet team, has been fined $5,000 and placed on probation until Dec. 31. He violated 12-4-A, because of improper use of a NASCAR credential (geez, what the heck did he use it for???) .(NASCAR PR), the lost 25 points drops Busch to 10th in the Drivers points and moved #29-Harvick up to 9th.

# 19 Evernham Dodge: Mayfield fined. The #19 Dodge team was found to be in violation of Section 12-4-A, 12-4-Q (car, car parts, components and/or equipment used that do not conform to NASCAR rules) and Section 20-12.8.1A (roof height too low in post-race inspection). That infraction resulted in crew chief Chris Andrews being fined $35,000, driver Jeremy Mayfield losing 25 driver points and car owner Ray Evernham losing 25 owner points.

# 20 Gibbs Chevy Rudd to drive Stewart's car at Dover?

Tony Stewart is determined to win another NASCAR Nextel Cup championship. So determined that he might give up his race car this weekend. That's right. Stewart may climb out of his car Sunday at Dover International Speedway and give it up to another driver. You don't ordinarily improve your prospects and help yourself win a championship with such a move. But you do when your replacement is Ricky Rudd. Stewart fractured his right shoulder in a crash in the Coca-Cola 600 at Lowe's Motor Speedway last week, making him doubtful for this weekend's race at Dover.
(Stewart may actually start the race and Rudd take over at some point; Nextel rules allow this and it has been done several times during the past couple of seasons)

Robby Gordon: Will be driving three different racing vehicles this weekend. "Robby Gordon both owns and drives for his Nextel Cup team for one simple reason: He's such a head case that he couldn't work for anybody else." (SI.com quote) With the issue of drivers competing in both Busch races and Nextel Cup races on the same weekend heating up, Robby will drivethree different vehicles in two different races and will log 11,200 miles to do so. He flew from Charlotte NC to Mexico after the race last Sunday night. He practiced and qualified for the Baja 500 desert race. On Thursday, he will fly back to Delaware where he'll practice and qualify for the Bank of America Neighborhood Excellence 400 at the Dover International Speedway in his # 07 Chevy. On Saturday morning he will fly back to Ensenada, Mexico, to compete in the Baja 500 in his Chevy 1500 Trophy Truck. The race will also be started by Robby's Dad in a Hummer3; halfway through the race, Robby will take over for his Dad in the H3 and Andy McMillin will drive the Chevy truck to the end of the race. (Are you confused yet? :lol ) After that race is over, he will return to Dover to run the Cup race on Sunday.

Busch needs to grow up, and fast. It would be funnier than hell if those 25 points kept him out of the Chase.

Yes, that would be funny. Both Busches need to grow up, but especially Kyle. He's dangerous. Hendricks will probably appeal and get the points penalty reduced or dropped (or converted to $ - that means nothing to them) since it's affecting them, too. That's the way that outfit operates, they think the world owes them something for some reason.
