Weekend poll which didn't release its sample characteristics. Also, there are a number of polls showing Bush over 50%. If it was in the 30s as it was for Carter and Bush41 then this might be significant.

Wednesday October 13, 2004--Fifty-two percent (52%) of American voters say they approve of the way George W. Bush is performing his role as President. Forty-seven percent (47%) disapprove.

The President's Job Approval has not dipped below 51% since the Republican National Convention. Since Labor Day, it has moved in a narrower range from 51% to 54%.

During all of 2004, it has ranged from a high of 57% in early January to a low of 48% on May 17.
