I have to admit, I had Detroit pencilled in for the Finals. Shows you what we all know about basketball. :)

Pistons played their best basketball before the all-star break. Last couple of months of the regular season they were just amongst the good teams but didn't stand out as elite.

Flip burned out his starters. When they didn't do well he didn't have anybody to go to on the bench as they were not adequately prepared.

I can honestly congratulate Wade and Jason Williams. I like both of those guys.

I am less opposed to Shaq... so semi props to him too. :)

Jason Williams got me to love the Kings, and I've followed him since his departure. Wade is just too good to hate on.

Feel your pain, Mike. Would've really enjoyed rooting for you guys in the Finals. Too bad you couldn't get there. What'd you say next season, we have a rematch of the 2005 Finals? Enjoy the peace now. Both our teams have seen a lot of basketball the last couple of seasons.
