I kind of wonder who things would have been had we had Payton instead of Van Exel. Too bad. Nick had a cool game a few years back.

Nick was hurt this year. So it's not fair to compare.

Healthy...I would take Nick. But this year, in the playoffs...obviously Payton has had the bigger impact.

I like Nick as a person, but on court he is way to trigger happy for me. All year. I wanted to tell him to make the extra pass and then pass again.

I don't see how Payton would fit like a glove here. :)

I have never, ever liked Gary Payton, but I think he has been pretty impressive these play-offs for Miami. I actually have seen some visions of the defensive Payton of old.

As for NVE, he just isn't Nickie if he isn't trigger happy. :)
