Nah I don't think it is. I was mostly kidding.

Though, there are obvious tangible benefits to the NBA when that does happen. But I think assuming such things about the NBA really hampers one's enjoyment of the game. Personally I just go ahead and give them the benefit of the doubt and assume that they are as fair and unbiased as possible.
