steve nash...he is simply the most extraordinary contributor to the game of basketball i have ever seen.

his game is simply flawless. He is the human embodiment of what it means to be MVP.

They don't deserve the kudos that they are recieving? WTF??????????

BTW, it isn't just ESPN that is giving them high praise for how unbelievably good that they are, every ex-player and current player interviewed is in agreement.

Jealousy is an ugly bitch.

LeBron James will win it next year. He should have won it this year also. he had good enough stats and his team had success. His teammates are weak and he took cleve to 7 games against Det.

The MVP is voted on before the playoffs start, so you can't take that into consideration. It has to be completely based on regular season. Either LeBron or Nash winning it this season would have been satisfactory to me.

I know that the post season doesn't matter in the voting. But it goes to show you how valuable he is to the success of his team if you want to take that as a criteria. He also had better stats than Nash if you want to take that criteria. So the combinations of both criteria and James should have won it this year.

Steve Nash is exactly the same as Bill Russell.

You say that you understand that postseason doesn't matter, but then you turn right around and say it again. Are you sure that you really get it? Besides your logic makes no sense, since YOU are looking at the postseason, Nash has had a more successful playoff run.

What if he isn't any good next year. He could break an ankle or a toe. Would he still deserve to be MVP if he doesn't play?

The Suns losing when he's injured will prove just how valuable he is to his team.

I am not sure about that. What about LeBron, his time is comming, maybe Wade, Kobe, Dirk and ofcourse Tim.

I think b2b MVP for Nash is too much, so I do not see him next year´s MVP, unless he will have even better season than 2004/05.

he settled for jumpers to much instead of driving his d needs work
and if he wants to be like nash he needs to take over 4 quarters more

he is not there yet

holy shit...
i cant believe my posting about "if there is any justice in the world steve nash will when the next 5 mvp awards" actually recieved serious consideration/replies.

this should be exhibit A in showing that steve nash is just a tad bit overrated.

I think TD's MVP days are behind him and not because he's not good enough. I just think they'll pace him a lot (#'s down a bit) so he's ready to go for the playoffs. He was really awesome in this season's playoffs.
