Flip "Choke" Saunders.

All I can say is "told ya." Just like a lot of Spurs fans.

Good luck next year though. Going to be a pathetic Finals this year.

Going to be a pathetic Finals this year.

Pathetic finals year for the homers in San Antonio and Detroit, but real NBA fans will thoroughly enjoy every last minute of NBA basketball reamaining in these great playoffs.

mister self-gratification. Remember that one? Admitting you were wrong a few weeks ago and pretending you knew it all along makes you just as much of a bitch as the rest.

sickdsm,

Hey Mr. Bitter Wolves fan, this is what I wrote back in February:

Flip has a poor playoff record, and I think it should concern Pistons fans. His open style of offense may not be as effective in the post-season when defenses tighten up. But, right now, all we can do is wait for the playoffs and see how things work out. While I think there is some merit for trepidation on how Flip will coach in the post season, I think there is more credence to the notion that the actual players more so than the coaching determines success. I am not saying coaching does not help or does not make a team better. But, I do believe the ultimate credit and/or blame should be largely placed on the players and how they perform. And, while there can be many criticisms of Flip's coaching in the playoffs, the only way to fairly judge him as a playoff coach for the Pistons is to wait and see him coach in the playoffs AS THE PISTONS HEAD COACH.

This is what you said about your precious Timberwolves at the beginning of the season how they were underrated and would shine in the regular season and how you took the over of the Vegas predicted 44 wins for Minnesota:

That being said, the wolves are underated this year.

So scoff all you want at the notion the wolves will end up being from 5-7 seed, i expect that. KG, Wally, and troy are all still around.

Things are more likely to get better with a young struggling team than an old one as the season progress. And they have a coach who is trying to round the team into an athletic, driving/fastbreak and defensive minded team for once. Say what you want about fastbreak teams in the playoffs but the reg. season is where they shine.

This is what you said about the great Richie Frahm and how you anticipated him being the next Fred Hoiberg:

I forgot to mention Frahm. As it stands so far this guy is a GREAT Hoibs replacement. The best thing i like about him is that he shoots the exact same if hes contested or not, just like Freddy did. Now if he can continue to shoot like him remains to be seen.

Please kindly shut the fuck up and know your role as a bitter loser fan of a losing franchise.

Wally wasn't with the team, now was he? The season was over when he got traded for the future. McCants had a slower than i expected start. But if you will read what you;ve posted i showered it with "so far, to be seen's....." Not to mention that post was an update four games into the season, Did you SEE Frahm at that stage? I don't think so. He was shooting 50 % from 3 not to mention the leading scorer of the opener with 5-6. But if you would kindly shut the fuck up back and reread my humble OBSERVATION 4 games into, you'd see what i'm talking about.

I was happy about the Jaric signing and i've already a long time ago said i was wrong about that. You and your bitch clan have not.

I can teach you your role being as we have the same role's now. Damn, i guess not, see, my team just isn't that good and yours, well, there great except your coach, you know, the one you kissed his ass, screwed it up for their title hopes.

I dont know if it was Flips fault that they lost to MIA. I mean one D Wade rib injury less and this is the 2nd straight year MIA beats DET in the ECF.

sickdsm,

See, this is where your memory fails you time and time again.

Over the summer, I stated very clearly that I wanted Larry Brown to return. And, when it was clear he wouldn't, I supported a Terry Porter hiring.

Only after Flip Saunders was hired did I even say anything about Flip, and what I did say is I will be open to seeing what he can do and will wait to see how he coaches in the playoffs to make any final determination about him as a quality coach.

Your fucking hate for him leaves you blind to what most Pistons fans have said most of the season, that we were happy with how he was coaching and we'll wait to see what he can do in the playoffs.

Fuck you and your arrogance and your I-told-you-so's. You're like your avatar, a joke of a fucking little boy.

If you're gonna throw Wade's injury in there for last year (only 2 games), then you have to throw in Sheed (ankle), Rip (ankle), Dice (wrist), and Ben (hand) being hurt all series this year. Me? I don't want to hear any of it. We were good enough to win this year, an we didn't. Place the blame where you see fit.

What dig? Not on the Simpsons or Bart. On you, dipshit. It was a dig on you.

Bart Simpson is a cartoon character. He's a boy cartoon character. By his nature, he is a "JOKE" of a boy. Simpsons are great.

The insult was directed towards you, stupid.

Next time, make sure you eat your wheaties before posting.

Okay, I stand corrected. Your post wasn't predictable at all, it was a wholly unexpected white-hot bolt of insight and analysis that broke new ground in NBA commentary, and NOBODY saw it coming weeks in advance.
:rolleyes

Yes, Detroit was warned. Matter of fact, we HEARD the warnings. Yes we were worried that regular-season success wouldn't carry through in the post-season. We were worried that the defense would slip and that Flip might get out-coached. (The only thing nobody was worried about was the Pistons forgetting how to hit a wide-open shot - why didn't you warn us about THAT, you're so smart?) You got a point, or are you just trying to keep your mind off other issues?

Yea bad post...

Finals is about winning games... may the best team win..

We lost... but we fought a good game.. Detroit's loss was not on the coach..

Coaches coach.. players play... bottom line is they got out played...

Larry was shopping for another job anyway.. they had to get a new coach.
