ESPN.com ranks former Gophers center Joel Przybilla, now with the Portland Trail Blazers, as the seventh-best free agent available this summer. ... No doubt that the Timberwolves are shopping guard Marko Jaric, whose big contract will make him hard to move. ... The word out of Utah was that Blaine native Patrick O'Bryant, who played in college at Bradley, made such a good impression in a workout with the Jazz that the 7-foot center is at the top of their draft list. ESPN.com's Insider reported that one Eastern Conference scout called O'Bryant the top prospect in the draft. "While that may be one lonely opinion, it does appear that O'Bryant's stock is on the rise," read the report. "He is long, athletic and the only legit center in the draft. He might have a big draft in his future." ... ESPN reported that Tim Grover, who has a great reputation working out potential draft choices out of Chicago, had some good words to say about ex-Gophers guard Vincent Grier. "He has great ability to get to the basket at any time," Grover said. "His jump shot is improving. He can guard 1s, 2s or 3s. He is a great athlete. Great on-the-ball defender. Above average footwork." http://www.startribune.com/507/story/471870.html
