Mavs in 7. I believe Avery will adjust roster again and find proper players to stop Haslem, Walker and Williams. They'll have problems with Shaq and Wade, but also Miami will have unstopable Dirk on opposite side. Defenses are equal, but speed is on Mavs side

Heat in 6.

Heat want/need it more this year... or something like that.

Actually, I just took it because the 15/1 odds was irresistable...

The odds of that are 15/2, twice as resistable.

Most everyone believes the western conference is the better conference. Mavs had much better record during regular season. Mavs smoked the Heat both games they played this season. Mavs are deeper. I can go on but I'll end there.

With all that said, I think this should be a great series since Shaq is playing so well right now. He could carry the Heat to the title, but I wouldn't bet on it. Mavs in 5 or 6.

Mavs in 5, and they'll lose the one game by 5 or less points in Miami.

Eastern Conference was minutes away from owning the last 2 titles. EC can ball now, it's not like when the Spurs sanwiched their first 2 titles between a Laker 3 peat when the EC was a joke.

Mavs had much better record during regular season.

If regular season records mattered, the Finals would be Spurs and Pistons.

Mavs smoked the Heat both games they played this season.

If regular season games mattered there wouldn't be playoffs. The only thing the Mavs have to show for having a better regular season than Miami is HCA...and Miami just proved to the Pistons that HCA doesn't matter.

True: Stackhouse, Van Horn, Daniels, Armstrong, Javie, and Bavetta is pretty much the best bench in the NBA rightnow.

I've never done the vbookie betting thing, so why not 15/2 sounds like fun.

I'm not arguing the points, just trying to let the guy who asked why the Mavs are favored in Vegas and by the majority of so-called "NBA experts".

Geez, I don't know why I keep friggin trying to actually talk hoops on this board. "Some" of y'all are ridiculous!

Heat will win game 1.

Mavs will win game 2

Heat will win all 3 home games.

...take it to the bank.

you gotta admit though, although them winning 3 games in a row is unlikely, it's not that unlikely.

i like the bet, but then again im a gambling man.

To add: IF the series go's to game 7 in dallas, i give dallas the series..

The heat's best chance is to win it in 5, if they don't i think their chances drop sharply.

Mavs win 1st 2 in Dallas, then win 1 out of 3 in Miami and close it out back home in Dallas in game 6.
