Now don't call me a damn conspiricist but this smells a little fishy to me. The 2006 NBA Finals will be played between the Dallas Mavericks and the Miami Heat, now we all know American Airlines is on the brink of bankruptcy and what better way to earn media attention and $ then during the NBA Finals? Ok well the Finals will be played @ THE AMERICAN AIRLINES CENTER in Dallas & The AMERICAN AIRLINES AREANA in Miami :spin, a coincidence? Now we all have heard it bout the Refs making bad calls but those calls against our spurs were horrible, downright made me sick to my stomach. ok im done now til 2007

Somehow, I doubt this will help AA much.

People buy tickets basd on price, not because some stadium is named after them...

Remember, ENRON had it's share of endorsements as well...

Why would the NBA care about a crappy airline having sponsorship over the two NBA Finals arenas?

Sure you can, you just have to use the Ft. Laderdale/Hollywood airport some 20 miles away from Miami Inter'l...

Nope, there are no flights from Dallas Love to FL. Wright amendment.

To fly SW between Dallas and Florida you would have to buy two tickets.
