Normally I won't pay to see a remake in the theater but this one looks good, I love scary movies, and I have some Fandango codes that are about to expire :lol

I'll see it, but probably not tonight. I loved the original, it's totally creepy. And the remake looks like a top notch remake, and I like Julia Stiles, so I'm excited about it.

I'll watch it but it'll probably be better for those who have not seen the original and TPark is right, you can't top Gregory Peck.

But Damian is one creepy dude.

i just got back from seeing it... ok movie.. it relies on loud noises, surprises, and things that you can see coming, to get the scares in. It's best to see it with a girl because they WILL cling on to your arm during parts of the movie ; )

i'd give it a 6.5 for me.. but a 7.5 if you see it with someone special : )

Well that just leaves more tickets available for all the non shot-by-shot remakes that are CBF-approved, I saiddd!

No way dawg, CBF is against every remake in existence, and thinks that they expose the talentless nutbars behind Hollywood for what they really are--hacks that prey upon Marriott's moneys.

The shot for shot remakes are the worst case scenario, and if you really are looking forward to this movie, you could have rented it ummm any day of any year since like 1981. It's the same fucking movie. Why would you pay 8 bucks to see it on a theatre? To each his own I guess.

I said :lol

It isn't even a good remake if there is such a thing.

There are some good remakes. There are. But virtually every remake in this 4 or 5 year trend has blown ass, some people don't even realize the movies they are watching are remakes *cough* poseidon *cough*

fucking talentless hacks

good at one thing, suckering people for money

I wonder if they re-make The Omen II and III, also if they get Sam O'neil to play Damien again in III.

I totally want Julia Stiles' hair. Mmmm, pretty. Of course it'll be useless to try without the stylist to fix it every day . . .

I really enjoyed the movie. I thought it was a pretty good remake, and I loved the original. I do however, remember why we don't see things on opening night - the theatre nearest us (the AMC on Dunvale, enigma) has guests that live under the perpetual delusion that attending/viewing a movie is an interactive experience. Sigh. The movie lived up to my expectations. I thought Liev Schrieber did a great job, and I thought Mia Farrow was terrific. I also liked Julia Stiles a lot, but SFIE thought she was wooden.
