I KNEW it! :lol Tom Hanks was just on. Seriously, he needs to do something with that DaVinci Code hair.

Anyhoo, I would have to go with any and all variations of the word FUCK. Classic and appropriate for nearly all your situational cursing needs.

While I love the word "fuck", there is nothing more satisfying to me than a really loud "god dammit!!" It's probably the PK in me.

He's going bald. I think thats why he has that hair. But yeah, its BAD.

Tom's hair is absolutely horrible. I don't know what was worse, his hair or the movie.

It's funny you said that, cus I went to Catholic school my whole life and for some reason, the guilt makes me not want to say that. I say damnit a lot on its own, but that isn't really a bad curse word, imho. I say 'gotdamnit' here on the forums a lot, but its spelled differently and doesn't feel as bad for some reason.

But the reason I like 'fuck' so much has to do with Catholic school as well. Since it could be a curse word (fuck you), a state of being (we're fucked) or a sexual act (fucking), it seemed like the dirtiest of all the cuss words, like it was more illicit since we were supposed to be good little virgins :angel

As bad as the word "fuck" was in my house, "god dammit" was always much worse because it was sacriligious, so when I needed the worst exclamation I could find, that was usually my exclamation of choice. It's not that flexible, but it is very satisfying - I probably should feel more guilty than I do when I use it, but there's enough resentment left in me to negate it :lol

Ahahahaha "good little virgins" .... :lmao Forced religion can do wonders to a girl's conduct.

Bitch but mostly used as a verb not a noun. I say "bitching" instead of "complaining" so often that I almost said it at WOAI in the middle of a roundtable video. I said something like, "He's not bit -- complaining about playing time, so ..."

Fuck

Nice word, SW.

Perhaps one of the most interesting and colourful words in the English language today is the word "fuck". It is the one magical word which just by its sound can describe pain, pleasure, hate and love.

In the language, "fuck" falls into many grammatical categories. It can be used as a verb, both transitive (John fucked Eva) and intransitive (John fucked). It can be an active verb (John fucks), or a passive verb (John was fucked), or an adverb (Eva is fucking interested in John), or a noun (Eva is a fine fuck). It can also be used as an adjective (Janet is a fucking beauty). As you can see, there are not many words with the versatility of "fuck".

Besides its sexual connotation, this word can be used to describe many situations:

Fraud : The Spurs got fucked by the refs against the Mavs.

Dismay : Oh, fuck it!

Trouble : Now I'm fucked.

Aggression : Fuck you, Cuban!

Surprise : Fuck me!

Confusion : What the fuck?

Difficulty : I don't fucking understand Pop's small ball hardon!

Despair :Fucked again.

Philosophical : Who gives a fuck?

Laziness : He's fucked off.

Incompetence : He's fucked up.

Displeasure: What the fuck?

Rebellion : Oh fuck it.

Banter: Fuck wit!

It can be useful in descriptive anatomy: Jason Terry really is a fucking arse-hole.

It can be used to tell the time: It's six fucking thirty.

It can be used as a prediction: Oh, will I get fucked?

It can be used in business: Why did I get this fucking job?

It can be maternal: You mother fucker!

It can be nautical: Fuck the admiral!

It can be political: Fuck Bush!

It can be used to enhance meaning: SW is Beautifuckingful, or the calls that the Dirk got were unfuckingbelievable.

And of course, it can open the door to many relationships ... Let's fuck!

Fuck. It's succinct. I have to watch myself, because I use it so often at home, it comes out naturally. Now, damn is perfectly acceptable at work and in most grocery stores (while in the vicinity of elderly women or young children), and the occassional shit or bitch (particularly while being used as a verb) is not a problem on a college campus, but damn, some people still get riled up over fuck.

I do try not to use it around kids (or curse at all), but it's going to be fucking hard to break that habit before we have kids. And I don't want my kids cursing up a blue streak when they are seven - hell, I don't even curse around my mother now!

When my daughter was about 2, her daycare teacher told me she was saying Damn-it. I thought "Where is she picking that up? It must be from some kids at school." Then when I picked her up that day we were riding home and she hit her finger against something and looked down at it like she had just broken a fingernail and went "Damn-it". Well I knew immediately that she was imitating me. :oops Damn-it !!! I was busted. :lol
