1 year or 2 years and you can have a team option, a player option or no option on the second year.

This summer the LLE will be $1.75M ($1.747M precisly)
The biggest deal you can give to a player using the LLE is $3.64M/2years ($1.75M for the first year and $1.89M for the second year)

Javtokas but if he signs a 3 year deal they would have used some of the mle up.....

if their was no buyout I offer scola the lle. tell him he would be reward if he pans out.
ofcourse oberta got more then the lle so he would be pissed

Yea i doubt Scola would agree to the LLE . Now Javtokas I think he would take it. Considering what a solid big man goes for these days if he did Pan out, he would definitely get rewarded, either by the spurs or someone else.

do we get early bird rights with a player who execpts the LLe?

Where is that in the agreement?

I don't see that in any of the articles.

Don't bird rights require playing on a team for 3 years? (with the entire length of the contract counting if traded to another team).

If the Spurs are dipping a couple of million dollars into the MLE for Robertas then it seems like Scola isn't coming here this year.

Early bird rights kick in after 2 years, but count against the midlevel exception.
