Would the Spurs ever consider him. He can play the 2 or 3 and was pulling down a lot of rebounds, something that we need.

no they would not consider him since they know he will make more then the mle
and kings would not help them land him

Supposedly, Detroit is priming to make a run at Bonzi.

He's looking to be paid this off-season. First of all, we couldn't offer him a good enough deal for him to consider us (unless a sign-and-trade deal which doesn't look likely), and second of all, we couldn't offer him the minutes he wants. The swing positions are too crowded with two players that play 30+ minutes in Bowen and Manu.

Play him at power forward. Parker-Ginobili-Bowen-Wells-Duncan could actually be a pretty decent rebounding team, and he would give you the option to go even smaller on the perimeter. Against Dallas, Wells on Howard and Bowen on Nowitzki might be successful.

But, like most teams in the league (including Detroit), the Spurs have neither the money to pay him what he wants nor any assets Sacramento would be interested in a sign-and-trade for.

He's a defensive liability.

He's a little mentally fragile.

His game doesn't really fit our style.

Too expensive. Get a long 3/4 instead... or Ben Wallace (just kidding)

he will stay in sac or move to a team that will accomadate the type of minutes and role he wants to play. i think sac could build around him as part of a core and he likes it here. i hope he stays.

Jared Jeffries.

Speedy Claxton.

Jenero Pargo.

Those are the additions I think would really solidify our team.

Is that your opinion, or you going off something you've read/heard?

they want a quick point guard

I like Jared Jeffries I would either target him or DeMarr Johnson for the Spurs search of a long 3. DeMarr Johnson is very athletic and can defend.

Promise Chauncey's Job? I really don't think he would tell Speedy that. For one Billups still has several years of his prime play and is an iron man to where Speedy is injury prone.

I love how Jeffries defended Lebron.

DerMarr is nice player too. His defense is underrated, he has a nice stroke, and he doesn't seem to have a big ego. He's fine with coming off the bench and playing a role. I'd take him, too.

Speedy is a younger Lindsey Hunter with a better mid-range shot in my opinion.

He will never be a starter...if it is it will be on a bad team. The sooner he decides he wants to be a career backup on a winning team the better off he will be.

Bonzi a defensive liability? Where did you come up with that?

An article came out saying the Spurs will considering Bonzi but he'd likely be way too expensive.

:depressed unfortunately i think the best chance for DJ is to leave the Nuggets and sign under a coach that will play him and develop him

he shows streaks of excellence on D, including shutting down AI in the 4th qtr of the last game vs philly this season. His length can really bother other players.

He is my favourite Nuggets player and i would like him to stay in Denver but i think the best chance for him is elsewhere

Bonzi Wells can't go to the Spurs because he's going to be a PISTON! :drunk It still doesn't seem very likely to me, despite the speculation. But hey, I can always hope.

As ducks said, I think Speedy Claxton is a solid, realistic option for Detroit. I'd prefer Wells, but Speedy would be good too.

I hope not cuz he abuses the Mavs. He always had great games vs. Dallas when he was with Portland and even this season with Sacramento.
