Dear Kori,

Thank you for your email.

We are still in discussions with the US broadcasters but do aim to have the major games from Japan covered.

In addition to having TV coverage of selected games we are also planning on having an Internet Broadband offering of games from the men's World Championship in Japan from the FIBA.com website.

More details will be available on FIBA.com.

With best wishes,

Paul Stimpson

Thanks for this news, Kori. This means we'll probably (or should that be hopefully?) get all of the U.S. games plus early-round coverage of a few games of Argentina and France because of their teams' NBA presence. And obviously whoever ends up in the quarterfinals (semifinals?) and beyond.

But I get the feeling that for Lithuania and Slovenia we're going to have to rely on liveblogging from posters on this board and YouTube clips. Although maybe the Internet streaming that the FIBA guy mentions will be more comprehensive than it sounds.

Since you`ll be seeing US games, you`ll see Slovenia in the game where we beat them :lol

Thanks for the info Kori.

My itinerary isn’t finalized yet, but it looks like I will be attending the Group D games in August.

Last summer I could see all the E.C. games I wanted by buying a $20 pass from media zone.

That might be another option for you. I am hoping it works out again for me. :)
