It starts around the 1st of November, 24 teams - 8 to a group. Then the Top 16 play in a tournament structure leading up to the quarterfinal playoffs and then Final Four.

ah yes... the simplistic Euroleague format, easy for average user to grasp.
would it kill them to have 4 groups of 6?

4 groups of 6 : less guaranteed games. With groups of 6, there are only 10 gurantedd games while there are 14 with groups of 8.

Will they be expanding the Euroleague? I hear something about 32 teams.
