Abu is capitalized. If you mean the "al" in al-Zarqawi, al- is a prefix that means "the", it's always lowercase.

It would have to be the Mets. Pedro Martinez conceded that the Yankees were his daddy a couple of years ago, and Pedro now plays for the Mets. So by extension El Nino means New York Mets. This also explains why the Mets only show up every few years.
