Wolves center Michael Olowokandi paid a visit to an ankle specialist this week and skipped the team's preseason opener. "His ankle was a little bit sore, so he wanted to jump on [the problem] and have it looked at," Saunders told the Minneapolis Star-Tribune. "He wanted to make sure that nothing was happening from a structural standpoint. He just wanted to get a second opinion, feel comfortable."

The Kandi man reportedly wanted to ensure that compensating for the ankle injury wouldn't result in the knee problems that have limited him throughout his career. If it's not one thing, it's another with Kandi, and we're not expecting anything significant from him in fantasy play this season
