The Sonics' starting backcourt was unavailable for Wednesday's preseason contest against the Trail Blazers with shooting guard Ray Allen out with a gastrointestinal disorder and point guard Luke Ridnour suffering from a scratched left eye, according to the Seattle Times.

Neither injury appears to be serious. With Ridnour out, backup point guard Antonio Daniels got another opportunity to make a case for the starting job. He shot poorly (one-for-eight), but posted nine points, five assists, four rebounds, one steal, and zero turnovers in 27 minutes.
