This is not a question to taunt Spurs fans, just one that I'm curious about. I think very highly of the Spurs organization as it's very well run from top to bottom. Not to mention your team is the winningest franchise in pro sports dating back to the last 10 years.
Anyway, back to the original question. Which game was more heart breaking: Game 5 of the 2004 Western Semis versus the Lakers when Derek Fisher hit the winner at the horn or the game 7 loss in the 2006 Western Semis to the Dallas Mavericks?
FTR, I'm convinced had the Spurs won both of those games, we would be talking about a possible four-peat here as in all likelihood they would have gotten past the T-Wolves and Pistons in '04 and the Suns and Heat in '06.
Yeah, I know I'm playing woulda..coulda..shoulda..here, but that's the fun part about sports is the debates that ensue over topics like this.
