Ren And Stimpy was pretty funny, in the same vein as Sponge Bob Squarepants. Both are disturbing in that they are marketed openly towards little kids. Ren and Stimpy probably perverted far more children than Beavis and Butthead.

Although those kids that watched R&S most likely became the preteens that watched B&B

I remember watching ren and stimpy when I was probably in third or fourth grade. Watching it now, I can't believe some of the shit they got away with.

Exactly. It was a disgusting, perverted cartoon with several hints of homosexuality and beastiality.

Didn't they make an entirely new season of Ren and Stimpy when it moved to Spike TV, or discover a lost season or something like that? I remember watching episodes on the channel that I had never seen before. But maybe they were old ones I forgot.

Spongebob is a bit girly and doesn't have hardly enough inuendos as Ren and stimpy did. I can't even get through an episode of Ren and Stimpy today without getting grossed out. And theni see home movies of myself and 2 year old sister singing "Log." WTF?

But did anyone ever watch The Head?

It was one of the first of MTV's oddities, the storyline was pretty tight too. The Maxx came after The Head, which was also cool in its own right.

My mom bought my brother and I Ren and Stimpy dolls for Christmas one year. They had whoopee coushins inside them and they farted. What ever happened to great toys like that?

The episode I remember the best is when he has to kick the alien in the balls while he's in heat because they become real sensitive... they basically exploded his balls right there.. good stuff.
