The Spurs won in 2005 too.

In those playoffs, Nazr was NOT playing like a giant spastic turd, so he got playing time. He wasn't great, but he didn't cause 14-2 runs for the opposition like he did this year, so he kept down the fort until Horry came in.

Rasho WAS about as effective as one of those styrofoam peanuts you get when somebody ships you something, so he sat.

This makes three years in a row that Rasho has been essentially useless in his three-year Spurs career.

I guess we're hoping Javtokas does better. *gulp*

I remember I missed almost the entire 3rd quarter of this game because Little Ceasars had a back log of like an hour on their pizzas and I had to wait for them bitches.

Re-watching this game, I realize how lucky the Spurs franchise was to have Robinson. What a player...what a man. Robinson is the epitome of what a great "man" is. What an awesome human being.

About time you notice.

Damn, what more could you ask for from a team?
1.Best record.
2.MVP
3.Coach of the year
4.Champions

Back to back.

That is what more I can ask.

back to back will never happen for the existence of the NBA

no fucking way

our chance was 2006 and we blew it. its over. We still have the chance to win more championships, but it looks like we'll be one of those scaramento/indiana/utah teams that just acheive awesome regular season records, but only make it midway into the playoffs

About time you notice.

I've noticed before, it's just that watching this game brought back those realizations.

Loved seeing this game again! I am going to put on a dvd and give it to my dad for fathers day. I have posted this before but I went to High School with David and me and my Dad never missed a game. Seeing David go out on Fathers Day. My dad will just love it!

angel_luv, did you miss out on the glorious exhibitions of basketball that were Games 3 and 4 of the 2003 Finals?

I watched all those games- which glorious moments are you referring to?

Maybe it's been said already. But I did not notice that Parker was out for the entire 4th quarter. Claxton was HUGE for you guys in that quarter. That's why I don't want to see him in a Spurs uniform next year. But it could happen. Jackson was also huge for you guys but everybody knew that.

Also, seems like the 2003 celebration was better than the one in 2005. Maybe that's just me, though.

Bingo.
That said, Parker was enjoying the nightlife a little too much during that series, and it showed in games.

Did I say a little too much? I meant a lot.
