Miami wouldn't give up Haslem.

Miami wouldn't give him up, and I'd be very reluctant to trade Robert Horry.

Especially to the Miami Heat.

Spurs had him on their summer league team but earlier in the summer he was on a Heat SL team. They liked him, likely made him an offer and he withdrew from the Spurs team before the league began. Being from Miami the Heat were his preference.

As opposed to our bigs...who were 0-0, 0-0, 0, 0 , 0 , 0 , 0 VS Dallas. And Haslem is playing pretty good D.

I love Horry too much to want him traded. In the 3 yrs he has been on the Spurs, he has become one of my all time favorite players.

Haslem is a tough player who can rebound. If you can get rid of an aging Horry who only has about one year left, and a player who is smart but not NBA ready for a young, athletic defensive type player, you do it.

Haslem would be an awesome addition, but Miami would be crazy to let him go, he will be a big force in this league once Mourning and Shaq retire. He has loads of potential.

Haslem is Malik Rose. He's a "Monet": looks good from a distance, but up close, it's a bunch of dabs and dots of paint.
