would spurs fans and pistons fans do this trade? the spurs give up a very good shooter but get an athletic small forward who is young and can still improve and also get a veteran bigman who still has a little left in the tank, while the pistons get a very good backup for rip hamilton who can knock down some threes. http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/traderesult?players=42~187~1031&teams=8~24~24[URL=http://]

I like Barry for Evans+Davis and even more if we trade Rasho in another move.

I don't like Barry for Watson because he is too expensive to be a backup PG. I don't see Seattle doing this trade too.

Barry is tradeable in a package deal if they intend to trade rasho...Barry's contract is not that bad, so it just might be worth a team to take rasho's contract...

Evans, yes. Davis, hell no. Screw Dale Davis. Enough with the old guys already.

I'd take Barry for Mo and Dale in a second.

We never really used Dale, so he's just taking a roster spot for us. And Mo doesn't do much for me at all. He does some things well....but IMO is too slow and a poor ball handler. He's not much of a shooter other than an occasional Bowen-like open 3 from the corner.

Barry could fill our needs at backup PG. And Delfino could finally get some PT w/ Mo gone.

Mo Evans seems like a good project.

I always thought that it was a rule that two teams that could very well see each other in the Finals each year are not as likely to help each other. Why would the Pistons help the Spurs re-tool and likewise with the Spurs helpling the Pistons. As logical and ideal are the parts being traded you just don't want to give Barry or Evans an oppurtunity in June '07 to bury their former teams.

Why don't we just trade our entire bench for Rip, Rasheed, Ben, Prince, and Billups? We all need to stop drinking. Its causing us to hallucinate.

Uh, Maurice Evans is 28 years old and can't do much of anything on the basketball court. DD is in his 30s but is still a quality player, definitely better than either Rasho or Nazr.

That said, I'd do that in a second as a Pistons fan. Barry is a huge improvement over Evans, and Flip refused to use Davis anyway.
