Tex hit what appeared to be an upper-tank, third deck, walk-off homer vs. Trevor Hoffman. It appeared from the camera angle to curve over the foul pole. Umps called it foul....oh, so close.

Tough break for the Rangers. I would love to see a home plate view down the right field line of that one.

The ball appeared to land in the front row of the third deck, between the 3rd and 4th seat from the end of the row (3rd/4th seat from the pole side edge)

I was watching Mavs/Heat and Padres/Rangers at same time. :)

Tex got screwed again last night.

Rangers had the bases loaded down 3-5 to the Giants. He hit a liner that kicked up chalk on the foul line. Called foul.

it's punishment for the screwjob the refs gave the mavs vs. the Spurs

I saw the game, at that point last night. Rangers had loaded the bases with seeing-eye hits and a walk. The Rangers had narrowly missed getting 2 runs from DeRosa's near-double down the left field line (2 inches foul) a few innings earlier. Then the double was just flat taken away by the 1st base ump who was less than 20 feet away from it. He must have blinked. Totally blown call. The ball clearly hit the chalk squarely, maybe even closer to the inside of the line than foul territory.

That may have been a 3-run double...it at least was 2 runs and would have tied the game 5-5.
Tex almost blew an eyeball out of socket and I don't blame him.

It's a conspiracy against the city of Dallas. Poor babies, they should win everything.

There should be instant replay in baseball...maybe not for balls and strikes, but definitely for things like that...it sux we have the technology, and they don't use it.

There's nothing more torturious to a fan than seeing something clearly on TV and there's nothing they'll do about it...

HAHA...yes we should. You're a Cowboys fan, right?

Yeah. If I were a baseball fan I'd be a Rangers fan, too. Cowboys fans typically place high expectations upon the organization, and hold them responsible for any failure. I wish the rest of the sports fans up here would follow that example.

I hold high hopes for the Rangers...especially after 2 seasons ago, when it looked like Glory Days were approaching...now, after MANY years, our bats are silent and our pitching is pretty decent...go figure. We're still only 1-1/2 games back, thanks to the mediocre West.

The Tigers are running away from everyone...except the White Sox.
