We lost, congrats to the Heat but what's really funny is ALL THESE THREADS STARTED BY SPURS FANS WHO GOT BUMPED IN THE SECOND ROUND. There aren't a lot of threads about the Heat but there are so many about the Mavs this and the Mavs that, I really can't wait until this rivalry starts up again next season, should be fun. Maybe you should worry about the fact the Eric Williams turns 34 this year, way to get younger! Bonner's a great pick up but adding aging Williams won't help much.

Mav fans talked too much shit about our team and our titles for us to not run it back in their faces when their team doesn't measure up. If Dallas fans had come in here with some class like Suns fans and Pistons fans have in the past maybe we'd all feel differently, but all I've heard is how we're old and done because our Spurs lost a championship on one stupid foul. I hope all of you Dallas fans recognize just how rare of a shot it is for anyone to see their team make the Finals.

Although, we have been there 3 times in the past 8 seaons. And we do have 15 division titles. Dallas has 2.

No one plans on Williams contributing much. Most Spurs fans think he'll be cut or traded.

Okay look dude. this is a SPURS SITE.

What are you expecting?

And we fans of a three time champion can post whatever the hell we want. Don't like it, go over to Mavstalk.com or something.

Hey Mav Fan, congrats on your 0-1 Finals record. At least Spurs know how to take care of business. Put that in your mouth and chew it. Sour, ain't it?

Mavs fans spam the forum and then cry when someone responds. Run along now, don't you have a championship parade to catch?

He should take a lot of 3's - he's a good 3-point shooter.

And hustle is what he does.

I guess you saw a bad game.

Well I've seen him play quite a bit and he seems to hustle. The Spurs will probably use him to swing between small/power forward off the bench. His 3's will be very useful in the system.

If fans of other teams don't realize, this was a financial move. Rasho for 2 expiring contracts and a draft pick. Bonner is young and will give them some decent minutes and spread the floor. If Williams has anything left, he'll be deep on the bench. If he doesn't, they cut him or deal him to a team that wants his expiring contract.

There's no lose in the deal. The Spurs save $17M.

Put that together with Rose being gone and the Spurs knocked off about $32 mil in salary from 2007-09. But I guess the Spurs had to complete all of their offseason moves today so there's no hope.

That Dallas' Bitch title under my name doesn't seem so bad now that Dallas is back to being the bitch. I guess my guaranteed Spurs win streak had to end sometime.... but it was fun for games 5 & 7 vs Detroit, and games 5 & 6 vs Dallas.

I really can't wait until this rivalry starts up again next season, should be fun.

Rivalries are fun. Too bad the Mavericks aren't a rival. A rival competes and shows class at least once in a while. Spurs fans, just like fans everywhere, don't like seeing a bunch of pansies and their bandwagon fans wait until they lose to claim the league is rigged.

HAHA, I'm just playing with you guys, calm down, no need to give me the rundown on your team's history, it's all been said and done a thousand times over. I'm serious about the games next year though, I hope they are as exciting as the second round series was, whichever way the chips fall. BTW, all fans have some idiots in their fanbase, the Heat fans only showed up at Mavtalk after winning Game 3 and then acted like some of the Mavs fools you've seen on this board. I've seen Pistons fans on the Heat board acting da fool as well, it's an inevitable part of the game, otherwise where's the fun?

And hustle is what he does.

I guess you saw a bad game.

Pop will have to hide him on defense though. I equate him to Keith Van Horn but with hustle. Van Horn can normally shoot 3's, can board from time to time, but is a defensive liability.

if getting owned is coming back from an upset of 3-1 and getting to play in a game7 in the wcf only to lose cause the refs keep the whistles in their pockets, then what do you call having a 2-0 lead in the finals and losing it all 4 straight?

FUCKED?
