Not the best year for point guards - we almost forgot about Marcus Williams, until angel_luv, his biggest supporter, mentioned him again late in the first. :lol :lol

The draft was moving pretty fast, so I'm sure it was accidental. :lol

I am telling you- Williams is going to rock. I have a good feeling.

He and Rudy Gay were my favorite picks.

I like Tyrus Thomas too- just not for Toronto.

the actual draft is Wednesday (tomorrow) :) , I was a little confused too. :spin

Well, you can't pick people as they are actually being picked if you want the fun of seeing how accurate we are.

Yeah but why the night before? Any other mock draft I have ever done is the same day as the draft. That's why it's odd to me.

ESPN is doing their mock draft in a few minutes. I don't see how it's odd.

If we could get Lowry, I would faint along with RC!

Toronto is having some good fortune. Number one pick, plus Garbajosa is supposedly coming over this year to join Calderon with the Raps.

Not the best year for point guards - we almost forgot about Marcus Williams, until angel_luv, his biggest supporter, mentioned him again late in the first. :lol :lolThat's not exactly what happened. Angel originally picked him in the (I think) #10 slot, but that pick was later changed, well, I never saw the change in chat and so I crossed him off my list. Otherwise I would have picked him at #13.

No, Angel picked him and then the person who really had that pick showed up and made another pick instead. So we nixed Angel's pick. It happened all at once and was very clear. You must have just turned your head for a second or something. :)

Ashbeigh, do you even know anything about Lowry?

He wasn't on my list of people to look out for, but I was aware of his presence before today. So, yes. I know a few things about him.

Lowry is a tough kid that was part of the big 4 guard combination (Foye, Ray, Nardy are the others) at Villanova. His natural position is at point guard. I think he's like 5'10. He's very aggressive and likes to drive the ball to the basket. He was really Nova's 'leader' as far as being a playmaker. Dude is built and can also defend. He's like a better version of Jamaal Tinsley. His only weakness is his jumper, but he showed major improvement in that area in his college years.

No kidding.

It was a mistake during our mock draft. So now people are just joking.

Drafts like that are tough without one of the draft programs like they have for fantasy leagues, so you can keep track of who's been drafted and who's left on the board.

Horry For 3!
