EU All-Stars

Put together a team of the top 13 EU Players and let them share MSG with the Knicks.

Then we could really see how good they are.

I would bet that they would make the Playoffs in their first year.

I think it's a fun idea...but will never work in the reg. season....fantasy yes...
How about during the All-Star game we have the World VS North America. Hockey did this for a few years, and it raised some interest. It would make the All-Star games way more competitive, especially if the US doesn't win the Gold.

Gasol
Jiric
Hedo
Giricek
Divac
Arroyo

Etc...
Looking pretty good for a team..

They do that now in Hockey. How about just move basketball to the Winter Games? Have a two week off period so the best NBA players (voted on by the fans) go and win the medals?

Hockey doesnt do it anymore because it was a tremendous flop.

West VS East.

Good is good.

I would take Peja off and but Beaubois on it to give that team a little more athleticism

Question:
Could the winner of the NCAA tournament beat an all Chinese team?

Next best location for an NBA franchise is Louisville. They are building a new stadium, and have Pepsi with Col Sanders as the backers. Word is they would call the team the Kentucky Colonels an the arena would be named the bucket.

Seattle deserves another team before anybody else IMO. But does any owner believe they would be able to support it?

Seattle fans would support it, but the politicians won't. They need a new arena before a team will go to Seattle, which is something the current politicos do not have the will to do.

Hell it would be nice to bring a team back to Seattle - maybe they can pull of a huge marketing deal naming the team Seattle Grace or Seattle Anatomy ;)

But did this deserve to reanimate a 6 year old thread? Seriously I don't get it, are you banned from starting threads?

It could be used to improve foreign relations. Someone should suggest it to Hillary Clinton, since she's a lock for being elected President.

Sorry... time warp to when the thread was started.

Interesting idea.
Maybe they could do some barnstorming around the country against this roster:
