Anyone need their grass cut, I can do an excellent job at a reasonable price ;-)

You're supposed to be rollin' the grass, not mowin' the grass.

Gotta mow it before you can roll it....

Most chicks I know have the brazilian thing going on, so speaking for some lady friends, no thanks!

Will you buy your own plane tickets?

...

I was actually serious ... my neighbors (who have similar yards) pay out the ass to have someone do their yards. I usually do it myself because I'm a tightwad, and I like the exercise. :lol

Well if you are a tightwad and like the excercise ;-)

I used to live across the street from a guy who (I'm not kidding, either) paid chicks in bikinis to mow his grass. For some reason, then Mrs. ASF wouldn't let me get their number...

Everyone always honks and waves at me when I'm out there with my blower. :lol

You know...it's not a bad side business.

Even if you charge 10 bucks a pop (which is fucking cheap) and you do it once a week and you line up like 7-10 houses that's an extra 400'ish a month. That's just at 10 bucks a house, I'm sure you would charge more...and maybe get more than 10 houses a week.

You could even do like 2 a day. :D G'luck, we have some guy who does ours and he's been doing it for a while.

Yards in my neighborhood go $80 and up. Of course, it takes pretty much all damn day to do it if you're going to edge, weed, mow, rake, etc.

Our guy does all of that, and we have a pretty decent sized lawn...for about 50.

But it's not as "steep-assin-hill" :D

There are all kinds of lazy SOBs up here north of Dallas who pay people to mow their yards. I mean, it's not like it takes very long to mow a 50x120 lot with a 3000 SF house taking up a lot of that. Probably half the people in this little subdivision have someone else do it.

I'm with SpursWoman. I need the exercise and I save $30-$40 a week doing it. When the grass grows, which it has not with it being as dry as it as been. But these stupid lazy bastards keep having them trim the 1/4" growth each week because they are too stupid to look out the window to see if the grass really needs to be cut.

In my neighborhood, there is a really high standard for lawn care.

A third of the people are Latino, and have relatives that do it for a living.
Another third are Asian, and are totally freaking anal-rententive about every blade of grass and twig on their shrubbery.

But I still do it myself.

I do my yardwork, myself, too. I also have 1/2 acre, but it's flat as a pancake. When I mow and trimming with the weed-eater, it takes about an hour on the riding lawn-mower. I am not cutting grass again, though, until it rains. I am sick and tired of eating that dust. :lol

The only time I have ever paid anyone to do my lawn was in 1996 when I was out of town for two weeks and I paid my neighbor $50 to do it.
